"I was the older sister by two years. My mother loved to dress us up in look-alike sister dresses. We also had our hair set in "rags" to create that Shirley Temple look. It was years later I remember she apologized for the pain this nightly process must have caused us. At the time, I just thought it was the price we had to pay to be pretty!"

  My Life My Book

Our Process

We will meet together in your home to discuss the project you want. We will discuss such things as why you want to do this, who the product will be for, how much time you can give toward the process, issues of confidentiality, prices, and so on.  You will be given forms to help you organize such things as important dates, family names, places, special events. I will help you organize the photos that you want in your book. Also we will go over contract forms with deadlines and prices.

Then we will sit down together for several sessions of the interview, recording your story onto a digital recorder, again in the comfort of your own home. This material will then be processed. A first draft of your story will be written for you to read, edit, and approve.

The final draft of your story will be created for your approval. This copy will then be sent to a professional who will print the number of copies of the book we have discussed.
